Company Profile: Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) was established by the Government of India on persistent demand of the Footwear Industry to have an 'Apex Organization' as a 'One Stop Solution Provider' for the various problems of the sector. Spurred by the surge in demand for trained human resources to homogenize the country's interests with the rest of the world, the Noida campus of FDDI in Uttar Pradesh was set up in the year 1986.

Candidate Profile:

1)Sr Faculty /Faculty /Associate Faculty-FOOTWEAR Technology:

Total No. of Posts: 10 (2 Jodhpur /1 Chhindwara/2 Chennai /3 Kolkata/ 2 Rohtak)

Qualification: M.E./B.E./DFT/SFT/PGDFTM/Equivalent Degree with specialization in Footwear Production and exposure in Polymer Science and Sports Shoe Technology with teaching/industry experience with minimum 3 years experience & more than 7 years for higher post.

2) Consultant/Sr Faculty/Faculty /Associate Faculty-Fashion Design

Total No. of Posts: 15 (3 Noida/ 2 Fursatganj/ 3 Kolkata/ 2 Chennai/ 2 Rohtak/ 3 Jodhpur)

Qualification: Masters/PG Diploma /Bachelors in Fashion Designing/Equivalent degree in relevant field with minimum 3 years experience & more than 7 years for higher post.

3) Sr Faculty/Faculty /Associate Faculty-For Footwear- PDC (CAD/CAM)

Total No. of Posts: 4 (2 Fursatganj/ 1 Kolkata/ 1 Jodhpur)

Qualification: Masters/PG Diploma /Bachelors in Designing / CAD-CAM/Equivalent degree in relevant field with minimum 3 years experience & more than 7 years for higher post.

4) Sr Faculty –LGAD

Total No. of Posts: 5 ( 2 Fursatganj/ 3 Kolkata)

Qualification: Masters/PG Diploma /Bachelors in designing/ Equivalent degree in relevant field with experience of Minimum 7 or more years.

5) Sr Faculty/ Faculty-Retail

Total No. of Posts: 10 (3 Jodhpur/ 1 Noida /2 Fursatganj/1 Chhindwara/ 2 Kolkata/ 1 Chennai)

Qualification: MBA/ Post Graduate/ PG Dip in Finance/Management/Marketing with exposure to Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Market Research, Business statistics, Personality Development, General Management/ Equivalent degree in relevant field and experience of minimum 3 years experience & more than 7 years for higher post.

6) Faculty /Associate Faculty-Business Management

Total No. of Posts : 12 (3 Rohtak/ 3 Noida)

Qualification: Masters/PG Diploma / Equivalent degree in relevant field with teaching experience of minimum 3 years in General Management

7) Demonstrator

Total No. of Posts : 5 (2 Chennai / 2 Kolkata/ 1 Fursatganj)

Qualification: 8th Pass with short term certificate course in shoe design/pattern making/cutting/closing/upper making/ lasting/finishing/component; and relevant experience of around 5 years.

8) Craftsman –(Fashion Design)

Total No. of Posts : 10 (2 Noida / 2 Kolkata /Retail Management- 2 Jodhpur/Footwear Design- 2 Kolkata / 2 Rohtak)

Qualification: 8th Pass with experience of around 10 years of experience in relevant field.

9) Technologist

Total No. of Posts : 2 (2 Noida)

Qualification: M.Tech/M.Sc. with relevant experience in Physical & Chemical Testing.

10) Lab Analyst

Total No. of Posts : 2 (1 Chennai/ 1 Noida)

Qualification: B.Tech/B.Sc with relevant experience in Physical and Chemical Testing.
