Karnataka state entrance examination for admissions to PG courses in
medical and dental for the year 2015-16 will be conducted by National
Board of Examination. Department of medical education has clarified that
there will be no separate entrance for private medical colleges in the
state and all the candidates including in-service candidates has to
appear for a single entrance examination.
The department of medical education will be using the merit list of Karnataka students prepared by such all India examination for counseling and allotment of PG seats in various disciplines of medical and dental stream, duly following the reservation policy of government of Karnataka.
Hence, all the medical and dental PG aspirants are informed to register for the AIPGMEE-201g online entrance examination to be conducted from December 1, 2014 to December 6, 2014. The applicants can register online on or before October 10, 2014 along with the prescribed fees as per the notification issued by National Board of Examination.
The examination shall be a multiple-choice questions test delivered using computer network. The test comprises of 300 multiple choices, single correct response questions in English language only. There shall be no negative marking.
A computer-based test will be conducted at test centers located in 33 cities in India.
