Andhra Pradesh government has increased the age limit for aspirants who are willing to make a career in government sector. A G.O. has been released by AP government this morning in which stated, the age limit for aspirants has been increased from 34 to 40 years. However, the details of the GO are yet to be revealed. As per the order, the maximum limit for general candidates would be increased to 40 from the present 36 years. For SCs, STs the upper age limit would be increased to 45 years from 41 and for physically handicapped candidates, from 46 to 50.
With the notifications for Group I and Group II exams getting ready, more than 4,000 government jobs are up for grabs. Sources said that the CM took the cue from other states, which recently increased the upper age limit for recruitment. The governments of Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttarakhand recently increased the upper age limit to benefit the unemployed youth by 2 to 4 years.

SCs, STs: Increased from 41 to 45 years
This is a very good news to the unemployed youth in the state. On the other hand, AP government is getting ready for the D.Sc notification shortly and minister Ganta Srinivas Rao has been constantly making statements regarding it.
